Search beyond your dealer list

MAPwatch searches US Google Shopping, Amazon, eBay and Walmart by product name and barcode.

That finds sellers your dealer list can miss: marketplace accounts and dealers whose page price is lower than their ad.

For each low-priced seller, we open the seller's page and record the price shown there, with a dated screenshot.

From finding to resolved.

Each seller below MAP on one product is a finding. It moves through the steps of your MAP policy. No notice goes out without your approval.

  1. New

We find a seller below your MAP and save dated screenshots of the ad and the seller's page.

  2. Violation

You confirm the MAP and whether the seller is your authorized dealer. A sale label waits for your call: approved promotion or not.

  3. Notice sent

You review the notice for the next step in your policy, for example a warning, a shipping hold, then termination. We check again when the response period ends.

  4. Resolved or Do Not Sell

Price fixed or listing gone: the finding is resolved. Still below MAP after the last step: the dealer goes on your Do Not Sell list, with a CSV for your sales team.

Notices go only to your authorized dealers. For an unknown or unauthorized seller, you see who it is, where it sells and the evidence. A test purchase and your lot records can show where the stock came from.

Less checking. Clear next steps.

Questions

Is MAP enforcement legal?

MAPwatch applies the policy and consequences you give it. Notices state your policy and never ask a dealer to agree to a price. Have your lawyer review your policy and notice template before first use.

Do you contact my dealers?

No notice is sent without your approval. You see the evidence first and decide.

Do I need to upload my dealer list?

Start with your products. We discover seller listings, and you can add URLs yourself. You confirm dealer relationships; until then, they stay unknown.

Can a platform remove a seller for pricing below MAP?

Not on its own. A price below MAP or an unauthorized sale is usually not a reason for a platform to remove a listing. A platform report needs a valid basis, such as a counterfeit or a copied listing.

What about approved promotions?

Add the promotion with its dates. We don't flag those prices until it ends.

Which brands is this for?

US brands with authorized dealers that need help finding, checking and following up on advertised prices.
